TRIED & TESTED: AMANDA NORDELL
Amanda Nordell specialises in treatments from acupuncture and facial massage to buccal (inside the mouth) massage, gua sha and cupping (from €65) in her new Windy Arbour studio in Dublin 14. Nordell has long been a name to know for face-sculpting: clients travel from all over the country to visit her, particularly women of all ages who are opting for a non-interventionist approach to their faces. Lots of male clients visit or acupuncture, too. I tried the Neolifting facial (€130), which sculpts and conditions your face while noticeably softening tension around the head, shoulders and jaw, using a combination of massage and lymphatic drainage. Nordell can always ascertain what you need, and her know-how means the experience is incredibly relaxing, helping to ease tight muscles, while also balancing and energising you for the days ahead. 5A Olivemount Terrace, Windy Arbour, Dublin 14; 086 811 5877; www.amandanordell.com.
